MG ZS 2021 goes into history in the Vietnamese auto market when it is known as the car with the fastest upgraded version after less than half a year of launch. Obviously, this is a drastic move of the British car brand to compete with rivals in the segment such as Kia Seltos, Hyundai Kona, Ford EcoSport. Let’s review MG ZS 2021 Quick with us!
In the mid-life facelift just released, the MG ZS 2021 focuses on improving the appearance, equipped with interior amenities, safety technology and changing gearboxes. Thus, users will have a modern MG ZS, superior comfort and safety than “convenience person”.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
At first glance, not many people will think that this is a new car because the overall MG ZS 2021 is still quite similar to its predecessor. However, when going into the details, it is clear that this urban SUV model has changed a lot in this upgrade.

Accordingly, the change that our evaluation team thinks is the most valuable on the MG ZS 2021 must include the front headlight cluster with automatic LED Projector Headlight technology on the high-end version instead of the previous Halogen bulb. Not only upgrading in technology, the car’s headlights are also decorated with sharper ribs incorporating hook-shaped LED daytime positioning strips.
The centerpiece of the new MG ZS’s head is a neatly tuned grille, highlighted by a pattern that simulates a completely black-painted hexagonal nose and chrome trim. In ZS Com + version, the front of the car will not have a 360-degree camera, it only appears on the high-end Lux + version.
The difference between the two new versions of the MG ZS will come from the “legs”. For the Com + version, this model uses a 16-inch petal-shaped aluminum rims, while selling Lux + is a more impressive 17-inch Tomahawk ax-shaped wheel.
The next highlight on the MG ZS 2021 must mention that the door handle has now been dotted with chromium material to make the car more refined than the old version. At the same time, this urban SUV also integrates a smart key with a convenient door handle button.
In addition, the rearview mirror on the MG ZS 2021 will integrate a turn signal, high-end camera hinge and power folding feature equipped uniformly on 2 variants to be sold in Vietnam.
Approaching from the rear, the MG ZS 2021 surprises users with many changed details compared to before. The first is the smoke-shaped LED taillights, inspired by the British Silverstone race track. Thus, the rear lights become more attractive than the predecessor.
INTERIOR DESIGN
The feeling of inadequacy when entering the interior compartment of the MG ZS is inevitable, but we say the version is released in 2020. Now, the Kia Seltos rival has really “changed the flesh” Although the upgrade is not too much, the manufacturer’s improvements are truly qualitative.

The dashboard area is where the new MG ZS scores with a 10.1-inch screen system and a thinner bezel that is more subtle than the poverty of the predecessor ZS. Not only that, the air conditioning keys on the car now also bring a new shape of the piano instead of the old classic rotating key.
Other details also contribute to the interior space of the MG ZS 2021 coming from fake carbon textures, soft plastic in the dashboard and red stitching that emphasizes the sportiness.
Just like the first launch, the MG ZS 2021 uses a sporty D-Cut leather steering wheel, the function keys appear similar on both Com + and Lux + versions. Upgrading in this area comes from the rear information meter cluster, which is a more modern color than the old one. Compared with Thailand, Vietnamese users lose more to know that, MG ZS in your country has a digital clock similar to “elder” HS.

FACILITY AND SAFETY
MG ZS 2021 owns a new 10.1-inch screen entertainment system that supports phone connectivity through Apple CarPlay / Android Auto. However, the touch capabilities of this screen are not really as responsive as we expected.
ENGINE

Under the bonnet, the MG ZS 2021 uses a 1.5L petrol engine block for a maximum capacity of 112 hp and a maximum torque of 150 Nm. Despite the old engine, the new MG ZS has changed from a 4-speed automatic transmission to a completely new CVT gearbox with 8 simulator speeds and front-wheel drive. Users will have 3 different driving modes including conventional, urban and sport.
